The Community Sustaining Fund is pleased to announce the following grants awarded in our Spring 2006 grant cycle.

Stonewall Youth  Grant: $500
Support for “Not in Our Community”, a social justice theater project.

Great Eastern Sun  Grant: $300
Support for video production and transfer of images related to “new beginnings” associated with resolving abuse memories.

KOWA Radio Project  Grant: $300
Provide equipment to enhance the station’s ability to produce live programs as well as the quality of their broadcasts.

Gender Variant Health Care  Grant: $300
Support efforts to locate and identify Trans-friendly healthcare providers in the South Puget Sound region and make the information available to the community.

Amnesty International  Grant: $300
Support funds for speakers, brochures, and film.
